Confidential Mental Health Assessment

Mental health is a key part of your overall health. Brief screenings are the quickest way to determine if you or someone you care about should connect with a mental health professional. They are checkups from your neck up! These screenings are educational in nature and can let you know if the symptoms you or a friend are experiencing are consistent with a common mental health disorder.

This program is completely anonymous and confidential, and immediately following the brief questionnaire you will see your results, recommendations and key resources.

Health Services encourages you to check your own mental health and look out for your friends and peers throughout the year. Choose to participate in a screening if you have been:

  • Feeling empty, hopeless (depression)
  • Experiencing mood swings from very high to very low (bipolar)
  • Constantly worried, anxious (generalized anxiety)
  • Worried about your drinking habits (alcohol misuse)
  • Afraid of gaining weight or concerned about your eating habits (disordered eating)
  • Troubled by traumatic events (post-traumatic stress)
