Workforce Investment ACT (WIA) Out of School Youth Grant

AB&T provides programs for out of school youth (high school graduates and dropouts) through the Career Center System and other competitively procured programs. The primary goal of the out of school youth program is to provide occupational skills training and supportive services to enable youth to meet the requirements for high demand occupations. Various training opportunities are available to youth through area training institutions or training contractors. Opportunities are also available for youth who have dropped out of school and have become disconnected from mainstream education. These youth are offered another opportunity to successfully transition into skilled, educated, productive citizens.
