WIA In School Youth Programs

Amount: $109,878.33

AB&T operates youth programs for in school youth. In School youth programs are provided in area high schools through two contractors. East Tennessee State University Center for Community Outreach and Family Services provides programs in Carter, Johnson, Unicoi and Washington Counties while Northeast State Community College provides programs in Sullivan County. The primary goal of AB&T's in school youth programs is to provide the additional assistance needed for disadvantaged youth to receive a high school diploma while obtaining work readiness skills and leadership skills. The ultimate goal is to obtain the skills needed to be gainfully employed.
