The Student Affairs unit at Northeast State Community College works to help students begin and succeed in their academic and life pursuits. Student learning does not just happen in a classroom. Opportunities for teaching and development exist everywhere and at all times on campus.
The job of the Student Affairs staff is to capture these opportunities by fostering and promoting positive interactions. Staff members encourage understanding and respect for diversity, sustain a belief in the worth of each individual, and support students in their educational endeavors.
Student Affairs personnel advocate for each student at NeSCC by promoting access to college and community resources. The Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs administers the unit.
