Utilizing Your Mobile Device
Northeast State Community College is committed to enhancing the student’s educational experience, which includes transforming the learning, technological, and social environments. To best-prepare students to meet current and emerging needs of the 21st century global living and work places, the College implemented the iNortheast Mobile Technology Initiative in 2015 to facilitate teaching, learning, service, and student success through the use of mobile devices.
The following helpful links, apps, and videos are provided as resources to help students enhance their mobile device utilization.
Office 365 is compatible with a variety of mobile devices. Supported devices include Windows Phone, iPhone and iPad, Android Phone, Nokia (Symbian OS), and BlackBerry devices. For a list of functionality for each device, please visit Microsoft's official site here. An Office 365 subscription is required to use the applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Actively enrolled Northeast State students are eligible for a free Office 365 subscription. The free subscription can be set up at
https://products.office.com/en-us/student?ms.officeurl=getoffice365. Students must use their Northeast State student email address (username@stumail.NortheastState.edu) to set up the free subscription.
