Targeted Leadership Development Program (TLDP)
Facilitated by: Dr. Janice H. Gilliam, President of Northeast State and Dr. Donald W. Cameron, President of Guildford Technical Community College from 1991 – 2011.
The purpose of the Targeted Leadership Development Program (TLDP) at Northeast State is to promote and grow the leadership skills of the institution’s most important asset – our people. The first year of the TLDP offers a variety of seminars by experts and seasoned professionals on engaging leadership topics, including the importance of effective communication and change management techniques. Year two of the program provides participants with opportunities to showcase skills gained during the first year by collaborating on projects designed to make a positive impact on the campus community.

Beginning Fall 2014, there will be two cohorts of the President's Targeted Leadership Development Program:
Cohort 4, Year 1 and the Advanced Leadership Cohort - Year 4.
The Cohort 4, Year 1 of the TLDP is designed for employees who have interest in aspiring to apply for a leadership position, or are currently in a leadership position, but have not participated in the TLDP before.

The Advanced Leadership Cohort - Year 4 is designed for prior TLDP participants who have completed Year 1 and Year 2 of the program and who are interested in continuing their leadership journey.
