Get the FACTS with Northeast State tuition payment plan
To help students meet tuition costs, Northeast State Community College is pleased to offer FACTS, a convenient tuition payment system designed to give students some extra time to pay fees for the upcoming spring semester.
The deadline to sign up for a 50 percent down payment toward 2009 spring semester tuition is Dec. 15. The FACTS option requires a down payment of the 50 percent toward tuition with two payments due Jan. 5, and the balance on Feb. 5, 2009. Those two payments are automatically deducted from a designated checking or savings account, or charged to a credit card.
The FACTS system is not a loan and no debt, interest or finance charges are assessed to the student. No credit check is required. A $25 per semester non-refundable fee is required. The FACTS Enrollment Fee is automatically deducted from your account within 14 days of the date of your agreement.
To setup a FACTS/e-Cashier account and payment plan a student must first register for classes through NORSTAR at the College’s Web site www.NortheastState.edu. After confirming schedule and tuition balance, follow these steps:
- Click the Student and Financial Aid tab
- Select Student Account from the menu
- Set up a Payment Plan (FACTS)
- Select the correct term and submit
- Review the summary and click the e-Cashier logo.
An applicant must have their nine-digit student ID number, the name, address, and account information of the person responsible for making the payments.
If a payment is not successful, the student will receive notification from FACTS on how the unsuccessful payment will be handled. The FACTS plan will be processed until the balance is paid in full.
