FOCUS: THE POWER OF PERSONAL BRAND (INVITING OTHERS INTO YOUR STORY)

Course Description:

"Effective branding is far more internal than external."
−Tom Peters in Design - Innovate, Differentiate, Communicate (DK Publishing, Inc. 2005)

Organizations realize to build success, sustain it, and thrive over time, they need to know their brand as soon as possible. The same urgency should be applied to your Personal Brand as a Leader.

Personal Branding is a process and knowing your brand is critical to your sustainable success. You cannot focus on everything and be effective. Your compass is constructed with many components - your values, your strengths - and your Brand is the needle on the face.

The purpose of your Brand is to give you focus and establish a guide for your decision making when it comes to your growth and development as a Leader.

VALUES CONSCIOUSNESS - THE POWER OF WHO YOU ARE

    Course Description:

We make decisions based on our Values. We do this every day. We naturally make decisions on our Values because they represent basic principles and standards which define an individual.

Unfortunately, few leaders are conscious of this process - even in the most important situations.

Jeff Brunson has perfected the Values Cycle™ for use in helping Leaders leverage their strengths in growth, development, and performance. You have full accountability for allowing your Values to show through in your plans, actions, and decisions. Doing so is, all at once, Authenticity, Assurance, and ...Confidence!

Did you know it costs six times more to sell to a new customer than it does to sell to an existing customer? Then why do we take our customers/clients for granted? We will talk about how to keep clients coming back and bringing their friends with them.

    BUSINESS SYSTEMS

    Course Description:

Too often the systems in a business reside in the head of the business owner. That may work until the business begins to grow and then becomes a limiting factor for the business. Consistency and quality of the product and service suffer, team members feel disconnected, and the business owners find themselves working 24/7. This workshop explains how to systematize routine functions of the business to allow you, as the business owner, to concentrate on business operations. Remember the story about how McDonald’s started with just the two McDonald brothers and their two hamburger shops. Each time they tried to open a third store it failed. It was not until Ray Croc got involved and introduced systems into the process that efficiency and consistency prevailed. The rest of the story of course is history.

    TEAM MANAGEMENT

    Course Description:

As a business owner, unless you have a team working with you to accomplish your goals, you have not created a business; you have purchased a job. The team allows you to multiply yourself and expand beyond what would otherwise be possible. While we hear that people are a business owner’s greatest asset some think they can be the biggest problem. Getting the “right people” and “in the right position” is a major challenge. We will talk about DISC Personality Profile and other testing tools to know what types of personalities fit which jobs. We will learn a methodology for hiring those people with the passion to work and not just show up for a job. Stephen Covey in The 8th Habit writes that if we can find employees with the same passion as us they never have to be supervised. We will learn how to hire the best people and how to keep them.
