What is a Telecourse?

These college-credit courses use videotaped instruction, textbooks, and printed materials. Students view a majority of the lecture material on tapes/DVDs or, in some cases, via television and complete most of the coursework at home. Students must attend an on-campus orientation/class session as well as five wrap around sessions as a supplement to the video instruction.
