Educational Access and Diversity Scholarship Program

The purpose of the Northeast State Educational Access and Diversity Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to eligible Tennessee residents who express a desire to continue their education and show potential for graduation from Northeast State Community College with certificates and/or associate degrees. Northeast State's commitment to equity and success for a diverse student body enhances the quality of life in the Northeast Tennessee region. Diversity is one of the College's six guiding beliefs: "Diversity - creativity and achievement are fostered through respect for all individuals and their ideas."

General Scholarship Provisions

  • The Educational Access and Diversity Scholarship Program may assist Tennessee residents with maintenance fees/tuition, required books, and/or supplies.
  • A limited number of scholarships based on the cost of 12 hours of enrollment will be awarded for an academic year. The scholarships will be designated for qualified first-time freshman and returning college students.
