eBooks - Online Books

eBooks are full-text books online. The library subscribes to the following eBook collections:


netLibrary - Almost 57,000 eBooks representing primarily nonfiction works in literature, business, health/medicine, sociology, religion, science, philosophy, computer science, and education, as well as other subject areas. Each student must create an account with netLibrary from an on-campus computer or an authenticated link in order to check out books; however, no account is needed to browse or view the books online.


Safari Books Online - A collection of over 180 recently published, full-text books in computer programming and Information Technology (IT), including Cisco, Java, e-Business, Linux/Unix, Macintosh, programming, desktop, web development and administration, Windows, Software engineering, .NET, and more.


Knovel Books Online - A collection of over 1,200 full-text books covering 16 different technical categories including: Aerospace & Radar Technology; Biochemistry, Chemistry & Chemical Engineering; Electrical & Power Engineering; Mechanics & Mechanical Engineering; Semiconductors & Electronics, and more.


Oxford Reference
Over 120 language and subject dictionaries and reference eBooks covering many topics including literature, arts, humanities, science, business, quotations, etc. Also, provides access to all of the books in the Oxford Companions series.
