Who can use the Library?

Any student, faculty, staff, or community borrower. For more information, see our circulation policies.

How can I become a registered community borrower?

Any resident of the local community can use the Wayne G. Basler Library. While we do not issue library cards, we do keep every community borrower on file, and he/she can borrow materials using his/her name and address. A Community Borrower Registration Form is required as well as a valid Tennessee Driver's License. Upon completion the patron will be registered for one calendar year from the date of registration.

Each community borrower may check out a limit of five items at one time. These items may be renewed only once.

Can I use other Libraries in the area?

Yes. You can request materials from area libraries using the online Library catalog.
