Media Services

Media Services, located on the first floor of the Wayne G. Basler Library, supports the educational goals and objectives of the college by providing the highest quality user-oriented academic services. A collection of state-of-the-art equipment and software, assistance with production and use, ongoing user support services, television production, and satellite earthstation facilities contribute to the achievement of the instructional goals of the Institution.

A wide variety of services are available including audio and video duplication, audio cassette duplication, audio and video production (including linear and digital non-linear editing facilities), multimedia presentation development, assistance in development of online course media, image scanning, audio/video capture, audiovisual/multimedia system design installation and support, CD Burning, and downlink of satellite programming. All services must be copyright compliant.

Instructors may pick up and drop off equipment at the media services office or, after hours, at the Library's circulation desk or at the Office of Evening and Distance Education.
Equipment intended for classroom use must either be checked out or reserved by the instructor who ultimately is responsible for the equipment.

Students may check out the equipment which is necessary for course-related assignments and requested by an instructor. Students may obtain equipment at the Media Services office, and drop off either at the Media Services office or at the Library circulation desk.
