The online self help section is for all of you who have no time to come in when we're open. Or maybe you're too embarrassed to talk about a particular subject. Whatever the reason we hope you'll find solutions to your concerns as you search the web.
Registered nurses coordinate and provide the health services, which include:
Minor first aid for accident or injury
Minor Illnesses
Some over-the-counter (non-prescription) medicines such as Tylenol, aspirin and antacids
Blood Pressure Monitoring
Height and Weight Measurement - Body Mass Index (BMI) Score
Blood sugar test
Health information and brochures
Nutrition Information
Referral information for community health services
Selected health education and screening programs

Health services are available to current students, faculty and staff. You do not need to be sick to come to the Health Clinic. Health question and concerns are welcome. Students with chronic health problems should visit the Health Clinic to discuss any special concerns with the nurse before attending classes or whenever problems arise. No information about your health will be released without your written permission unless it is required by law.
The Office of Health Services partners with community agencies, professional organizations and other institutions for providing consultations, programs and referrals for treatment.
