Health Risk Behavior Assessment Results October 2001
The Student Health Clinic surveyed EDUC 1010 and DSPL 0800 classes in October 2001 for health risk behaviors. Total responders were 288. 74% were 17-24 years of age, 22% were 25-44, and 4% were 45 or older. 57% were female; 43% were male. 92% were white, 1 % were Asian, 4 % were Black or African American, 2% were American Indian or Alaska Native, and 1% were Hispanic. 86% were full time students. The purpose of the survey was to identify the prevalence of health-risk behaviors among our college students and to provide data for health promotion programs on our campus.
