There are a variety of resources available, free of charge, to prospective and current Northeast State students to assist them in the career decision making process.
Meet with an advisor - Many students find it helpful to meet with an advisor one-on-one and discuss career options. Often such a meeting is all that is needed in order for a student to make a careerdecision. Tennessee Career Information Delivery System - Take an interest inventory and receive a list of suggested career choices, obtain extensive career descriptions, and obtain salary/employment outlook information relevant to Tennessee, as well as the United States.
Occupational Outlook Handbook - Obtain information on job descriptions, working conditions, training/education requirements, and salary/employment outlooks for the United States on a wide range of occupations.
