ACT Placement

ACT scores (less than 3 years old by first day of classes) are used to determine if students are college-level or if more assessment is needed.

COMPASS and MyMath Test results will be used for placement into Learning Support or College-Level courses.

• Students with an ACT English subscore of 17 or less are required to take the COMPASS Writing Skills test.
• Students with an ACT Reading subscore of 18 or less are required to take the COMPASS Reading test.
• Students with an ACT math subscore of 18 or less will take MyMath Test.

Students must pay a $5.00 testing fee prior to testing.

*Placement by SAT subscores available when application submitted.
