Audition Information

Spring 2018 Northeast State Theatre Department

Animal Farm
By George Orwell and adapted by Ian Wooldridge
Produced by special arrangement with THE DRAMATIC PUBLISHING COMPANY of Woodstock, Illinois

Director: Elizabeth M. Sloan

Who: NeSCC Auditions are open to all students, faculty, and community members ages 18 and up. Animal Farm is looking to
cast 6-12 actors.

What (Acting):  Please prepare a 1-minute dramatic monologue (comedy is fine if that is all you have!). Animal Farm is a drama/satire.

We are an educational theatre department and we will not turn anyone away from auditions. We support and encourage beginners to get involved! You may show up with 1 monologue or we will provide sides (a short piece of the play) from the play. All you really need for the audition is bravery and a sense of adventure.

When: Tuesday, January 22nd from 6:00-8:00pm
Wednesday, January 23rd from 6:00-8:00pm

You only have to attend one night of Acting Auditions. Either the 22nd or 23rd

Where:  Meet in the lobby of the Wellmont Center for Performing Arts (WRCPA) on the NeSCC Main Campus in Blountville, TN where the Stage Management team will welcome and check you in. Please bring your school and or work schedule for reference.

Callbacks: Thursday, January 24th from 6:00-8:00pm

A list of those who are invited to Callbacks will be posted on the Northeast State Theatre Department Face Book Page on Wednesday, January 23rd  by 11:00pm. More details to follow.
