Telemedicine and Behavioral Health Provider

The Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) provides additional support to meet the medical and behavioral health needs of its system-wide students through a contracted telehealth service that offers virtual medical and behavioral health consultation services. Students enrolled at Northeast State Community College are eligible to register with WellVia, a national network of board certified, state licensed doctors offering medical consultations 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Student Access

WellVia doctors diagnose acute non-emergent medical conditions and prescribe medications when clinically appropriate. WellVia is available to you, your spouse, and/or children. Speak to a doctor from anywhere—campus, home, middle of the night, or weekends—since you have access to the WellVia service by phone, online portal, or mobile app. WellVia can connect students with a doctor or a counselor 24/7/365!

You also have access to WellVia’s virtual behavioral health services. Now you can virtually connect with a psychiatrist or licensed counselor through secure and private phone and video sessions, whenever and wherever you need it. Simply make an appointment from the comfort of your own home to begin.

Register at www.mywellvia.com/northeaststate to create your online account or call 1.855.WellVia (935.5842).

Please use your personal email or your Northeast State student email—also known as your student web mail—account (e.g., astudent1@stumail.northeaststate.edu) to register. This address sends emails to your college Office 365 mail account. Do not use your D2L® email address (e.g., astudent1@elearn.northeaststate.edu) to register since the D2L system restricts outside emails not related to your semester courses.

WellVia is an opt-in service for students and is not required. Fees charged for WellVia services are not covered by student tuition or maintenance fees. Payment for WellVia services are the responsibility of the student user. WellVia accepts all major credit cards such as VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. WellVia also accepts most HSA (Health Savings Account) cards to pay for doctor visits.
