Northeast State Theater Venues
Wellmont Regional Center for the Performing Arts (WRCPA)
The Wellmont Regional Center for the Performing Arts was opened in the fall of 2008. The purpose of this facility is to support community and public service initiatives by offering a wide variety of quality cultural events, conferences, and meetings to internal and external constituents. To meet this goal, the WRCPA hosts over 100 cultural activities and events each year, while also hosting a large number of conferences and meetings that support continuing education. This facility also plays host to Northeast State's theatrical productions and music programs, along with those of several area middle and high schools.
This facility has been a part of the Blountville Campus for decades, but it has recently been renovated to better serve the internal and external constituents of Northeast State. The 215 seat Auditorium now boasts a full HD projection system with surround sound to provide a great experience for meetings, films, conferences, classes, and a variety of other events. Food and drink are also allowed in this venue, which makes it a great choice for any event where breakfast, lunch, or snacks will be served.
Northeast State will be opening a new Amphitheater on September 10, 2015. Once officially opened, there will be more information available for this facility.
