The Northeast State Student Traffic Court hears student appeals of tickets resulting from violations of the Traffic and Parking Regulations on the campus. A selection committee appoints a Chief Justice and a number of students to serve as Student Justices on the Student Traffic Court.

Students may choose to contest citations through the Student Traffic Court’s online appeal process or by requesting an in-person hearing before the Student Traffic Court. Appeals should be filed within 45 calendar days of the citation’s date of issue.

  • 03:10:01 - Registration of Automobiles/Permits/Decals
  • 03:10:02 - Parking Zones
  • 03:10:03 - General Traffic Policies

  • 03:10:05 - Appeals
  • 04:19:00 - Emergency Procedures in the Event of Illness/Injury to an Employee, Student, or Visitor
  • 04:36:00 - Parking Permits for Disabled Persons
  • 04:58:00 - Traffic and Parking Regulations

Parking in a handicap zone violations must be appealed to the Vice President for Finance & Administration through the Chief of Police. Contact Chief of Police Brian Johnson for more information on the appeals of these violations.
