Administrative Professional Technology

The Administrative Professional Technology (APT) program prepares individuals for a variety of positions in today’s dynamic office environment. The concentrations of study include Business Office, Legal Office, and Medical Office. Courses in current office procedures, software applications, office management, and interpersonal communications prepare students for careers as administrative assistants, office managers, patient account representatives, or secretaries in an office setting. Upon successful completion of course requirements, students are academically prepared to take the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) associate and expert-level certification exams. The Medical Office concentration prepares the student to take the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification exam.

APT offers a one-year certificate in Office Technology. All courses in the Office Technology certificate program will articulate into the Business Office and Legal Office concentration.
