Drug Convictions

Students convicted of a federal or state offense of selling or possessing illegal drugs that occurred while they were receiving federal student aid will be ineligible for federal funds. If students answered yes to the question about drug convictions on the FAFSA, they will have to complete the Drug Worksheet. This worksheet is available in the Financial Aid Office. Necessary changes on the Student Aid Report (SAR) may need to be made.

If students are enrolled and are convicted while receiving federal aid, they must notify the Financial Aid Office immediately. Eligibility for any and all federal aid will be lost at that point. Students can become eligible again if they meet the conditions listed on the Drug Worksheet available in the Financial Aid Office.

Students may call 1.800.433.3243 if they need help with this worksheet or have any questions.
