New Student Orientation

Transition to college can be challenging and we want to help.  New Student orientation provides students with information about Northeast State Technologies, academic and student support services and more. Our goal is help you be prepared starting day one!

Orientation dates for students starting Fall 2024 have been set. The dates are as follows:

July 17- Elizabethton 9am – 12:30pm
July 17- Elizabethton 12:45pm – 4pm
July 18- Kingsport 9am – 12:30pm
July 18- Kingsport 12:45pm – 4pm
July 25- Blountville 9am – 2pm
August 14- Blountville 9am – 2pm
August 22- Blountville 9am – 2pm

Student Life promotes and supports co-curricular campus activities and leadership development opportunities that enhance the student’s collegiate experience.

Northeast State is committed to the concept of total student development and support by encouraging participation in co-curricular activities that lead to the development of individual and team skills. The College sanctions various student organizations, clubs, programs and academic/co-curricular committees in support of student life.

Student Life programs and student organizations are coordinated through the offices of Campus Activities and Leadership Programs, which serve as clearinghouses and resource centers for campus programs designed to promote student involvement, including voter registration.
