Community Resources

Northeast State realizes that outside factors can impact students and their coursework. Therefore, community resources that support the health, welfare, and needs of students are made available. Each organization has been reviewed by the Student Needs Project staff to ensure that students receive appropriate assistance.

Tennessee's community services help line is 2-1-1. Trained volunteers are available to help you locate services within your area. The local help center is Contact 2-1-1 of Northeast Tennessee.

Northeast State provides a dedicated staff member to help students understand the provisions pertaining to the financial aid eligibility of homeless students . The College's homeless-student liaison is Cathy Phillips, Financial Aid Process Specialist.
