What is Because of You?
Because of You is an annual scholarship fundraising event sponsored by the Northeast State Foundation.
The goal of the Because of You Campaign is to raise scholarship money for Northeast State students. All funds raised by events and sales during the campaign are used for Northeast State scholarships and programs. Contact Josh Johnson for more information.

Because of You Shirts
Shirts are $30 each and are available in seaglass or smoke colorblast. Pick them up at our kickoff event in the Basler Library on Oct. 1.
Sam Bush & Fireside Collective
Join us Friday, Oct. 2, at 6:30 p.m. (gates open at 5) at our amphitheater to support scholarships and programs.
Golf Tournament
Northeast State invites you to the third annual Academic Village Golf Tournament (open to the public) on Wednesday, Oct. 14, hosted by Cattails at MeadowView in Kingsport.
Donations for Denim
Donate $120 through payroll deduction or one-time donation to wear jeans to work Oct. 1 - Nov. 30! $150+ receives a Northeast State polo as well.
Pumpkin Patch
Support Veterans Affairs by purchasing a $10 pumpkin. Pickup available at the Veterans Success Center. Oct. 1-2 at 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Oct. 21, 23 & 24 at 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
BOYC Tie-Dye Party
Tie-dye a Northeast State 60th anniversary t-shirt with the Bookstore and Scholars to support scholarships!
60th Anniversary Phone Holders
Solid stainless steel phone holders are $20 each and are produced by our Regional Center for Advanced Manufacturing (RCAM) faculty and students. Dimensions are 4.5" H x 3" W.
Cutest Pet Costume Contest
The entry fee is $10, and voting is $5 for 5 votes. Email photo entries to Brittany Wick by Oct. 9. Voting: Oct. 11 – Oct. 31. Proceeds support LEAD Center.
Bear Bucks Painting and Charcuterie
An after-hours (Oct. 7, 5-7 p.m.) guided painting class with complimentary drinks and charcuterie. $40 per person.
Bear Bucks Branch Slap Painting
An after-hours (Oct. 21, 5-7 p.m.) guided painting class. $30 per person.
