The Career & Workforce Development Center (CWDC) is pleased to announce that the Handshake platform is now live for students, alumni, and community members. No more waiting on the weekly newsletter to check out job opportunities!

Information regarding upcoming events and job postings will be accessible via the Handshake platform 24 hours a day/7 days a week. 

Current Students

Current students claim your account at NortheastState.JoinHandshake.com.

Use your Northeast State credentials to login. 

Alumni, Community Members, Staff & Faculty

Follow the steps below to create your Handshake account.

  • Visit NortheastState.JoinHandshake.com
  • Click the link “sign in with your email address” and enter your email address.
  • Select “I’m a Student or Alumni”
  • On the Let’s Find your Next Job screen, enter your email address again. 
  • For alumni and community members, personal email addresses will work. A school issued email address is not required.
  • For staff and faculty, you may use either your Northeast State email address or a personal email address to create your account.  
  • On the Add Your School screen, Northeast State should be populated. If not, select Northeast State from the drop-down menu. 
  • On the Choose a Password screen, follow prompts and then click Create Account
  • Complete the Tell Us About Yourself page and then check your email for the account confirmation message. 
  • Upon confirming your account, you will be routed to the Handshake platform. 
  • Your account will be pending until approved by the Career Services staff.
  • Once your account has been approved, you will receive an email notification that your Handshake account is ready.
  • If your account has not been confirmed within two business days, please contact The Career & Workforce Development Center at  CareerSvcs@NortheastState.edu.
