Revealing The Invisible

A powerful key to coaching others well is found in something we do every day, the simplicity of a conversation. Coaching happens between people and involves the use of words. These highly interactive sessions will help any leader or coach grow in their ability to help others move to a better place. Coaching never leaves a person in the same place. Come and learn with others how to be more intentional about the work environment you create for others as a leader and how you can be more effective in helping others to be their best when their best is needed.

Certified Clinical Medical Assistant

Certified Clinical Medical Assistants work in a variety of healthcare settings such as hospitals, clinics, medical group practices, and public health facilities. This 20-week program will enable you to become a crucial member of a medical team with skills necessary to function in a variety of medical settings. As you complete this course you will gain the technical knowledge required to assist you in passing the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) certification examination.

Dates: 7/15/24 – 12/2/24
Times: 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Days: Monday
Sessions: 20
Location: Kingsport Regional Center for Health Professions

All registration and fees must be completed and paid prior to the first night of the course.  Students will need to supply their own scrub uniform (black), white lab coat, clear safety glasses, and clean, white athletic shoes (no mesh tops or open toes) or nursing shoes. Certified Phlebotomy Technician

A career in phlebotomy is a highly respected and important medical career. Phlebotomists, who specialize in drawing blood, work in a variety of healthcare systems including hospitals, clinics, medical group practices, laboratories, and public health facilities.

Who Should Take This Course:

Individuals interested in starting a career in the medical field, prospective patient care technicians, current nurses, or those looking to develop skills may benefit from this program. This program will enable you to become a crucial member of a medical team with skills necessary to obtain quality laboratory specimens in a variety of medical settings. As you complete this course you will gain the technical knowledge required to assist you in passing the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) examination, which is included in the course, to become a Certified Phlebotomy Technician.

The Phlebotomy Technician Training includes theory and hands-on instruction during a ten-week program, which includes 40 hours of clinicals in a medical lab setting.  Attendance to all classes and clinical assignments is mandatory. Class schedule may be adjusted due to unforeseen causes, such as inclement weather.

Class Dates: Tuesdays, 9/10/24 – 11/12/24
Course Hours: 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Location: Regional Center for Health Professions, 300 W. Main Street, Kingsport, TN
Fees: $1,500.00
