What happens if I fail to verify my enrollment?
If you fail to verify enrollment for two consecutive months, your MHA/kicker payments will be placed on hold. In order to have your payments released, you will need to call the ECC to verify your enrollment. When you call the ECC to release your payments, you may also enroll in text message verification at that time.
When do I verify my enrollment?
Enrollment verification can only be completed on the last physical day of the calendar month or after. Our staff will send an email reminder to verify your enrollment.
When will I receive my monthly benefit payment?
If there have been no changes in your enrollment, your payment will be sent within seven (7) days. (If there have been changes, the appropriate corrections will be made to your payment.) You will get your payment faster if you:

The VA processes benefit payments on the first day of every month. It can take up to 5 days to arrive.
What if I do not verify my enrollment?
- Monthly benefits will be paused
- Monthly benefits will not be released until enrollment verification is received from the student
